We have had this update from Scouts UK on uniform prices:
An update on uniform pricing from 1 April 2022. Unfortunately, due to instability in the global supply of goods, like other organisations, Scout Store have been impacted by the increased costs of production. To make sure that they can maintain uniform of the highest quality, they’re having to increase the price of some uniform lines.
This equates to a 50p increase on Beavers and Cubs sweatshirts and polos. There will be no increase on Scouts, Explorers, Network and Leader shirts/polos and the cost of Squirrels uniform will not be changing, as they’ve already been purchased in bulk.
While they appreciate this is difficult news, especially with many other post-pandemic price rises, Scout Store have worked extremely hard with their supplier to make sure that any potential increase was kept as low as possible.
